Gizmo is an adorable Mogwai that was purchased by Randall Peltzer for his son, Billy as a Christmas present. Gizmo came with three important rules: do not expose the Mogwai to light, especially sunlight, which will kill it; do not let it come in contact with water; and above all, never feed it after midnight. When water was spilled on Gizmo, five more Mogwai spawn from his back, a more troublemaking sort led by the aggressive Stripe. Gizmo helped Billy to defeat the evil gremlins before they could destroy the town of Kingston Falls.
